General Statement of Duties:
Closing Date: This position closes on Monday, March 15, 2021.
Provides screening, counseling, case management, training or other specific treatment or rehabilitation activities as directed; does related work as required.

Essential Duties:
This position provide services to individuals who experience severe and persistent mental illness; services include monitoring clients mental status, developing crisis prevention and safety plans, and linking clients to appropriate services to ensure their stability in the community. Knowledge of principles, practices and methods of treatment and/or rehabilitation of individuals with a disability or mental illness; some knowledge of mental health and/or developmental disiability and related problems; good interpersonal skills which include the ability to empathize, demonstrate respect, communicate, reflect feelings and confront constructively; ability to relate freely to and work effectively with clients and professionals from all levels of the community; adherence to basic ethics appropriate for any helping relationship; ability to write concisely and coherently; demonstrated ability to use good judgment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
