BASIC FUNCTION:

Milwaukee Public Schools School Social Workers assist in modifying social, emotional and environmental factors affecting children’s education in order to promote an equitable and successful school experience.
  • A Master's Degree (MSW) from an accredited institution
  • Clinical Experience in a K-12 school setting
  • A valid School Social Work license issued from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI)
  • This position is covered under the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS)


Interested applicants should complete all sections of the application including the online submission of a current resume and three (3) letters of recommendation dated within the last year and signed by the author . Non-MPS employees should attach transcripts conferring their undergraduate and graduate degree (REQUIRED).
