Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in sustainability, facilities management or business including or supplemented by course work in the principles, concepts, and methods to relevant to building systems and program sustainability, plus six years of progressively more responsible experience in facilities operations and design, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Can demonstrate knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, and methods of sustainability initiatives and practices involving Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED); familiarity with applicable regulations, legislation, policy, and office operational procedures; and ability to manage and supervise program activities and personnel.
May be required to supervise work or programs at more than one site. Required to have, or obtain within 90 days of hire, specific sustainability LEED certification, Facility Management Professional (FMP), Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or other related licensure.
