Prairie Elementary and Banting Elementary are seeking a long term substitute music teacher with a passion for growing learners and inspiring students to become active participants in their learning.

Knowledge and experience around instructional practices related to the following is preferred:

K-5 general music instruction

Digital tools to enhance instruction (1:1 iPads, Google Apps, Blackboard)

Virtual instruction

This person will teach 4-5 classes at Prairie and will travel to Banting to teach one class each day.

Current Long Term Substitute Teacher rate schedule:

1-20 Consecutive School Days in a single assignment: $115/day

21-60 Consecutive School Days in a single assignment: $130/day

61+ Consecutive School Days in a single assignment: $170/day (***retro paid to beginning of the assignment only at this level)
