About this role...

As a Partnerships Channel Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of NWEA's channel program. The objective of this role is to increase NWEA revenue by enabling channel partners to promote and sell NWEA products ; enable NWEA's sales team to promote and sell channel partner products ; and to facilitate joint sales efforts between NWEA's sales teams and the sales teams of various channel partners. In this role you will sit on the P artner A ccounts team and will represent Partner Accounts as a member of the C urriculum P artnerships core team which is made up of partnerships, product management and product marketing. You will manage the daily sales level relationships with our channel partners and select Instructional Connections. In addition, you will provide sales strategy feedback to the core team to help inform product roadmap, marketing strategy and inform sales targets with PA leadership and the core team. Your work will be key to maximizing the outcomes of new and existing channel partnerships by regularly providing relevant data insights and reporting, preparing internal and external communications, and overseeing processes related to performance metrics. As NWEA's Partnership Channel Manager, you will report to the SVP of Partner Accounts.
Your next challenge...

  • Build and maintain relationships with channel partner sales leaders, share NWEA's priorities and concerns, identify training and resource need.
  • Understand NWEA products, the products of channel partner organizations, how they meet market needs, and be comfortable conducting high-level presentations to respective sales teams.
  • Manage sales and pipeline reports, deliver analysis of reports to channel partners, use the reports internally to help NWEA sales team meet targets, effectively use the partnerships to generate new leads.
  • With multiple channel partners selling into overlapping markets, understand channel partners' plans, products and strategies, inform channel partners of NWEA strategies and minimize friction in the field.
  • Consult with Partner Accounts reps about the best curriculum solution for their partners.
  • Work with Partner Accounts Leadership and the Curriculum Partnerships core team to set sales and revenue targets for NWEA, and for external partner sales and referrals
  • Represent the core team for RFP opportunities
  • Remove barriers in the field
    • Facilitate communication between channel partners and NWEA's sale teams.
    • Work with Partner Accounts teams to implement strategies to leverage philanthropic opportunities.
    • Work with NWEA sales leadership and the leadership of channel partners to implement collaborative sales strategies that meet goals and objectives

  • Excellent knowledge of the K-12 education instructional market.

Education and e xperience ...

  • Minimum three years of experience with channel sales, K-12 EdTech sales, or marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or similar discipline required; An equivalent combination of three years' education and four years' experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in the K-12 education industry
