Long-term substitute for Early Childhood Special Education Teacher.
Teacher will work with students on IEP goals and assist with academic, behavior, social/emotional, and physical needs of students aged 2 -

• Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
• Preschool Curriculum
• Follow IEP and take data on student goals
• Work with other ECSE teacher in classroom to support students
• Write lesson plans
• Change diapers
• Assist with snack time
• Be prepared to transition back and forth between virtual and face-to-face instructioin

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in an approved program for special education - general curriculum or have completed a major in special education - general curriculum, or have completed 27 semester hours in the education of students with disabilities in the assigned area required. Must be eligible or possess a valid Collegiate Professional License from the State of Virginia.

Salary Range:

Substitute Daily Rate: $99.00/per day if licensed

Substitute Long-term Rate: $165.00/per day

To be eligible for the long-term rate of pay, qualified candidates must be licensed in Virginia with an endorsement in the subject area, or be immediately eligible for that license.

After substituting for 20 consecutive days in this position, the long-term rate will apply upon the 21st day of substituting. The candidate selected for this long-term substitute position will only receive the long-term rate of pay if eligible for this rate (see above).

Qualified candidates must have the endorsement to teach the subject at the school level or be eligible for a teaching license in the subject area
