POSITION SUMMARY:
The Payroll Clerk (Transportation) reviews and ensures accuracy and completeness of personnel data and time and attendance information on payroll records for the Transportation department, as well as provides payroll customer service to all assigned personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Reviews and verifies time reports submitted for pay.
• Inputs time and attendance information and calculates pay.
• Reviews all payroll entries and calculations for accuracy; corrects errors, if necessary.
• Maintains payroll records.
• Provides customer service to all assigned personnel.
• Creates necessary reports for time and attendance to track employee absenteeism.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
• Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated.
