    Location: Career Preparation Network (CPN), ? Prairie State College, 202 S. Halsted Street, #3205, Chicago Heights, IL 60411
    Reports To: CEO Council Board of Control (consisting of superintendents from high school districts 201U, 206, 227, and 233) and the Prairie State College president. General

    Duties: The Director is responsible for all fiscal and programmatic activities relative to running the EFE and reports directly to the CEO Board of Control which meets quarterly and approves all fiscal activities. The Director works closely with the Career and Tech Ed Council composed of representatives from each member high school and college district on all matters relating to the use of grant funds and running related programs in accordance with grant requirements and policies established in the regional Intergovernmental Agreement.

    Required Qualifications: ? Type 75 Illinois Administrative Certificate ? Teaching certificate in one or more of the five occupational areas (agriculture, health, industrial arts, family/consumer sciences or business) ? Possess minimum of 2,000 hours of employment experience outside of education ? Experience working with state and federal grants and Illinois GATA requirements

    Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience with CPN Career & Tech Education ? Knowledge and experience with Perkins V fiscal requirements, record keeping and reporting responsibilities ? Experience in school administration

    Programmatic: ? Organize and chair the CPN Career and Tech Ed Council ? Create quarterly Board of Control agendas in consultation with Executive District Superintendent ? Review course and CIP program approval applications for EFE member schools ? Meet with individual districts for IL Student Course System annual verifications ? Submit quarterly program reports in ISBE IWAS grant system ? Oversee sub grantee districts for programmatic and fiscal monitoring ? Collaborate with college partner on program development, transition, dual credit, and related CTE initiatives ? Collaborate with EFE Directors in System Director Leadership Council and Lake/Cook Regional Collaborative ? Work with assigned ISBE principal consultant and provide conduit to member districts

    Fiscal: ? Develop and administer annual local budgets, Joint Agreement Budget (JAB) and Annual Statement of Affairs (AFA) ? Provide guidance on grant allocation budgeting and amendments for secondary and elementary subgrantees within region ? Approve grant reimbursement claims after verification for accuracy ? Submit quarterly expenditure reports in ISBE IWAS grant system ? Maintain updated submissions for IL GATA requirements (ICQ, ORA, GATA Audit Certification) ? Oversee audit files (annual, state, federal, ISBE Technical Assistance Visits) ? Supervise, evaluate, and maintain records for the CPN Administrative Assistant ? Perform other duties as designated by the CEO Council.

    Terms of Employment: The CPN Board of Control will establish the work year, salary, and fringe benefits

    Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions set forth by the CEO Council.
