    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required: Verified completion of two years of college / 48 semester hours or have passed the work keys test

    Preferred:
    • Previous experience working with students
    • Demonstrated compassion and understanding for children
    • Demonstrated ability to work tactfully / cohesively with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community members
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills - verbal and written
    • Demonstrated organizational ability, effective time management, and commitment to job duties

    CONTRACT TERMS: Hourly Position - Up to 28 hours per week through the end of the 2020 - 2021 School Year
    $12.00 - $12.50 per hour / No Fringe Benefits

    General Description:

    1. Tutor and assist children aged, Kindergarten through third grade, in the development of
    reading skills and enjoyment.
    2. Engage in academic activities, either one-on-one or with small groups.
    3. Follow lesson plans to assist students' academic reading needs.
    4. Collaborate and work closely with principal, IB Coordinator, and teachers, to
    assess students' needs and how best to address them
    5. Maintain accurate record keeping of program services.
    6. Perform any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
