Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a 10-month, full-time Learning Center Science Tutor for the 2020-2021 school year.
Description:
The Learning Center Science Tutor will provide instructional support to students in science, specifically in the preferred areas of Biology, Chemistry and Physics; Work collaboratively with science teams and ILC/ELC tutoring team in supporting and documenting student progress; Facilitate development of executive functioning skills, especially in a Remote Learning environment.
Support will be provided from 7:30 - 4 p.m. daily (virtually now and then in a hybrid model)
Qualifications:
ISBE Licensure Required - Paraprofessional, Substitute or Professional Educator License (PEL)
ISBE Professional License with science endorsement is preferred.
Strong communication skills to create meaningful connections with students and faculty required.
Teaching experience with high school students as well as providing support as part of Response to Intervention programs preferred.
