   License and Certification Qualifications: Valid Georgia teaching certification in career, technical, or agricultural education required or must meet Career Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) eligibility requirements.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communication technologies, mass communications, video technology, broadcast learning, or related field required.

Experience Qualifications: Two years experience in video, multimedia support of communication, and instruction required.

Skills Qualifications: Ability to provide the theory and practical application of operations in a television studio, including camera and editing practices; experience with lighting, audio boards, and tape/digital machines; skills in photography and videotaping; ability to direct, tape, and edit for narrative, non-narrative, and commercials; ability to instruct on script development, pre-production, and post production; ability to implement, deliver, promote, and expand a high-level, state-of-the art video production/television studio for students; knowledge of video resources, including video, multimedia, video broadcast, interactive media, instructional programming, two-way interactive audio and video technologies; ability to ensure legal adherence to programmatic communications, agreements, and partnerships; ability to use the latest knowledge and skills related to video production/television studio with college prep and tech prep students; ability to use tools related to the routine operations and projects related to achieving proficiency with video and television components; ability to instructionally link the video production program to technical college, university programs, and employment; ability to deliver instruction and presentation of results appropriate to video- industry standards; ability to use appropriate assessment instruments to assess student progress; ability to meet and maintain all standards, licenses, and guidelines; ability to support the skilled growth of students through internships with video-related businesses; ability to develop relationships among both education and video/television studio partners; demonstrate high-level proficiency in the use of technology; excellent oral and written communication skills and math proficiency; and ability to work successfully with school, district, and state level personnel.

Primary Responsibilities: Implement, deliver, promote, and expand a high-level, state-of-the art instructional program in video production/television studio for students with instruction to include the content of operations of equipment in television studio, cameras, editing, lighting, audio boards, tape/digital machines, photography, videotaping, directing, editing, script development, pre and post-production, and individual and group advanced projects.

1. Implement, deliver, promote, and expand a high-level, state-of-the art video production instruction program.

2. Adhere to district Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) and state curriculum content, expectations, instruction, and testing requirements.

3. Provide a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment.

4. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of all equipment and facilities.

5. Ensure the delivery and sponsorship of program related youth organizations and leadership competitive events.

6. Utilize e-mail and technology required by district expectations.

7. Conduct advisory committee meetings as required.

8. Maintain inventory for equipment and supplies and complete appropriate local, state, and federal reports.

9. Participate in professional learning sessions where expected and/or required.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
