SALARY/PAY SCALE: Per collective bargaining agreement (minimum $85,500)
START DATE: As soon as possible
QUALIFICATIONS:
Amherst Central School District is seeking candidates for the position of Middle School Assistant Principal to work in concert with the Principal in all aspects of school leadership, promoting excellent instructional practice throughout our school to support the success of each student.
The successful candidate will have experience in both classroom teaching and in leadership, demonstrating the ability to provide instructonal leadership, build effective relationships with all stakeholders in the school and community, and participate as a collaborative member of the adminstrative team.
Experience in collecting and analyzing state and local assessment data, operational knowledge of establishing a master schedule and an understanding of curriculum design is preferred. Amherst Middle School is a high performing school, ranking in the upper tier of all middle schools in the Western New York Region.
