Position: Campus Coordinator - T esting and Federal Programs
Department/Campus: Campus
Reports to: Dean of Academics
FLSA Status: Exempt Role/ Salary Band: Band 5
Job Type : Full Time
Work Hours / Days: Normal School hours / 201 days

JOB GOAL
Coordination and integration of federal, state, and local services and programs including CIP development, test administratio n, parent involvement, and services to at- risk students.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (Preferred)
• Valid Texas Educator Certification (Preferred)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understands and supports the mission, vision and values of Harmony Public Schools.
• Takes resp onsibility for the organization, implementation, verification, collection, and distribution of materials for all local and state assessment s.
• Attends all required trainings regarding assessments, state and federal programs
• Serves as l iaison between campus and the district office for proper implementation of assessment guidelines and criteria
• Works with campus personnel, Special Educa tion, LPAC, Section 504, and RTI committees on testing program requirements
• Takes responsibility for the inte grit y and security of all assessments.
• Provides training to staff
• Orders tests and other materials
• Builds schedules, arrange rooms, make photocopies, scan (if necessary)
• Assists in the correction of coding errors as needed.
• Ass ists with inves tigating and prepa ring reports for test irregula riti es if needed.
• Develops and implemen ts procedures to monitor at- risk students.
• Works with students, parents, and staff to ensure students' academic success.
• Contributes to t he development of program goals to reduce school failure and dropout rates.
• Evaluates the state and federal programs at the campus and implements changes based on the findings.
• Compiles budget and cost estimates based on documented program needs.
• Compiles, maintains , and files all reports, records, and other documents required.
• Complies with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and the local board policy.
• Collects and submits Time and Effort Sheet (TES) for grant funded employees
• Informs grant funded employees about their funding source and trains them on how to complete TES
• Coordinates state and federal programs related activities at the campus including, but not limited to, Comp rehensive Needs Assessment, Campus Improvement Plan, Parental Involvement activities, etc.
• Conducts surveys related to state and federal programs
• Compiles detailed CIP budget and submit s it to the district
• Informs district office in the e vent a grant funded employee resigns, moves in to another position or changes schedule for more th an 10%
• Reports regularly to campus admin team, d istrict
• ffice and c entral
• ffice on the progress of the state and federal programs
• Meets regula rly with stakeholders and keeps meeting minutes
• Leads and participates in parent events
• Uploads documents to designated web site and maintains hard copies
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Know ledge about state accountability and district/ sta te assessments

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the district.
• Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.
• Ability to analyze data
• Ability to use effective interview techniques, effective public speaking skills, and problem- solving skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.
• Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.
• Position is in classroom setting and requires intermittent speaking, standing, walking and writing.
• Moderate travel is required.
