Per Diem tutors needed for an on-call basis accepting referrals from schools around the District (k-12 age). Position needs could be up to 3 students per day, 2 hrs per student. The final schedule is based on the needs of students and the availability of the tutor.

The schedule is inconsistent. Hours are flexible based on a variety of factors. This is not a full-time schedule

The position includes a partnership with UVM Medical Center Children's Hospital. Referrals for instruction at the hospital come from UVM, but BSD acts as the instructor in force. Support time may include visits to the hospital.

Experience as an educator (or students on an Educator path) is desired. Licensure is not required, but a strong desire to assist students struggling is a must. Struggles are not entirely academic and may require support for emotional/behavioral needs. One on One supports is the primary focus. Developing strong relationships is also an integral component of this position.
