The position is teaching third grade in a self-contained classroom, responsible for all core subjects as well as religion. Applicants must be Catholic to fill this position.
JOB SUMMARY: The teacher is responsible for planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicant must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Successful teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of computers/applications required.
- Demonstrated skill in diagnosing, prescribing, assessing student learning, and appropriate record keeping.
- Applicants must be able to structure a classroom to maximize student learning.
