NASHOBA REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, MASSACHUSETTS

The Nashoba Regional School District is actively seeking a dynamic and visionary educational leader to serve as its Senior High School Principal.

The PK-12 Nashoba Regional School District includes students from the towns of Bolton, Lancaster and Stow, Massachusetts. These three picturesque communities are situated in the Nashua River Valley and are located 20 miles northeast of Worcester and 40 miles west of Boston.

Nashoba Regional High School is located in Bolton.  It has a student body of 921 students and 85 professional staff.  The High School is currently designated in the “Eligibility Period” with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) as the communities look ahead to potentially adding to or replacing the current facility.  The mission of the district and the High School is “…to educate all students to their fullest potential in a safe, caring environment; to become critical, creative, reflective thinkers and positive contributors to the global community.”  The district values excellence through achievement and growth of all students through high-quality and coherent practices.  The Nashoba High School strives to provide an active environment in which students’ diverse backgrounds, identities, strengths, and challenges are respected. The residents of Bolton, Lancaster and Stow have consistently demonstrated their financial support for the district’s schools, and parents are actively engaged in their children’s education.

The new Nashoba Regional High School principal should be an innovative educational leader who is:

  • An experienced high school leader, an effective communicator, and technically proficient
  • Experienced in the recruitment, selection, supervision, and evaluation of faculty and staff
  • Experienced with secondary school scheduling and resource management
  • Knowledgeable regarding special education, P.L. 504, and other educational laws and requirements
  • Able to use student performance and other data to improve student outcomes
  • Committed to ensuring a safe and successful learning community
  • Respectful of and embraces diversity
  • Dedicated to promoting equity, acceptance and racial justice, and an enthusiastic proponent of restorative justice
  • Dedicated to providing for the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs of every child
  • Committed to working with the broader community to ensure that students develop lifelong skills enabling them to be contributing and productive members of society
  • Licensed as a principal/assistant principal in Massachusetts

Review of applications will begin on January 4, 2021, with interviews scheduled thereafter. The expected start date for the new Principal is July 1, 2021.
