About this role...

The Sales Operations team supports the activities of the NWEA sales and account management teams. They are responsible for the collection and sharing of sales data and metrics, forecasting, sales reporting, CRM application (Salesforce) management, process and best practices development and execution, and coordinating field events.

As the Manager of Sales Operations , you will report to the Vice President of Program Management, Proposals and Sales Operations, and you will lead the Sales Operations team. You will be responsible for the overall management of sales metrics and operational support needed to drive and support our sales growth and meet our mission. In this role, you will assist P artner Accounts (P A ) Leadership with sales decisions by identifying and analyzing key data and trends. In addition, you will be responsible for the adoption, implementation and support of enablement tools, for supporting strategic cross-functional relationships, and leading projects to support sales and strategic goals . Your next challenge...

  • Lead a professional Sales Operations team to support Partner Accounts.
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring, and coaching of all direct reports; assist in evaluating the annual performance of each Sales Operations team member based on project and sustaining work, and goal attainment
  • Drive a culture of innovation, feedback and mutual respect for all stakeholders
  • Support Sales Operations team members in setting, monitoring, and achieving individual and team goals
  • Identify operational needs of the team and provide appropriate resources to manage resource assignments and balance priorities to assure departmental goals are met.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform sales goals and planning, territory coverage, and forecasting.
  • Manage the collection and sharing of important sales plans and metrics, including team and organizational goals
  • Develop and manage forecasting and sales reports, ensuring accurate, timely reporting of revenue and trends to inform strategy
  • Assist in the planning and data gathering for key meetings and retreats, including PA Team retreats, Executive meetings, All-hands, and Leadership Team meetings
  • Implement and manage key productivity and performance metrics for Partner Accounts
  • Develop and implement sales processes, procedures, documentation and training materials to ensure thorough support of each Partner Accounts team with emphasis on specialized partner needs
  • Represent Sales Operations in cross-organizational projects and meetings as requested. Understand internal initiatives that affect the success of PA team members.
  • Keep multiple priorities in focus and in progress
  • Collaborate with members of the PA leadership team and others in the organization to move work forward; ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
  • Ensure timely communication of updates to PA team, monitor and manage workflow and communicate potential risks on a regular basis
  • Recommend and institute operational changes to increase efficiencies, improve quality, and/or decrease costs
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team and the entire organization

Education and e xperience ...
  • Bachelor's degree desired or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience managing highly professional staff preferred
  • Understanding of education industry preferred
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive improved performance outcomes is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategies and meeting goals required
  • Experience with software applications; experience in process automation, system implementation/conversion background required; knowledge of CRM systems preferred
