Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking two part-time Mathematics Tutors for the 2020-2021 school year.
Description:
Provide instructional support to students in Mathematics, particularly in Algebra, Geometry and all levels of Calculus.
Work collaboratively with Mathematics Team in supporting and documenting student progress.
Support will be provided by the part-time Mathematics Tutor from 5pm - 9pm daily via zoom.
Qualifications:
Qualifications are as follows but not limited to:
ISBE licensure required. Must have a Para Professional License (PARA) or Substitute License (SUB). A Professional Educator License (PEL) with Mathematics endorsement is preferred.
Strong Calculus skills are a plus.
Strong communication skills to create meaningful connections with students and faculty required.
Teaching experience with high school students as well as providing support as
part of Response to Intervention programs preferred.
