Full Daily rate = $248.63 for anything > 4 hours 31 minutes
Half daily rate = $124.32 for anything

The Rapid City Area School District (RCAS) is seeking technically-skilled and caring nurse substitutes to join our outstanding system of faculty and staff. School nurses strengthen and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children and assistance in the removal or modification of health related barriers to the learning process. The major focus of school nursing services is the prevention of illness and disability, and the early detection and correction of health problems. Successful candidates for this position will display high level of confidentiality and professionalism, paired with adaptability to rapidly changing situations, as well as the ability to quickly establish and then maintain effective rapport with students, parents, and staff. **In order to be qualified for this position, applicants MUST meet the following requirements: Registered Professional Nurse with active license to practice professional nursing in South Dakota.
