The Manager, Federal Programs coordinates all federal Title I programs for the school, and provides guidance and oversight of personnel and programs to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and the school plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  • Coordinates and submits required documentation for all federal Title I programs;
  • Coordinates and submits required documentation for special state level funding programs;
  • Develops/collaborates with others in developing policy surrounding Title programs;
  • Maintains understanding of ESSA guidelines and state requirements for applicable programs;
  • Updates Head of School, Operations Manager and other appropriate staff of ESSA guideline and state requirements;
  • Collaborates with all stakeholders to develop LEA and school level Integrated Action Plans;
  • Ensures that the student academic performance, progress and attendance is compliant with federal and state program guidelines and the school plan;
  • Oversees development of parent training programs related to Title I;
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and appropriate records and reports;
  • Work to prepare for onsite monitoring and audits;
  • Monitors budget compliance for Title I programs in cooperation with the Senior Accountant;
  • Researches and implements non-K12 curriculum evidence-based resources to meet state standards;
  • Develops and maintains relationships with districts, educational stakeholders, and the state;
  • Participates in school administration meetings and attends additional meetings and summits as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Oversee EL and Gifted education coordinators;

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Business, Education or a related field AND
  • Five (5) years education work experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: List OR None required.

Other Required Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership experience in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
  • Ability to travel for work including for meetings and professional development
  • Ability to clear required background check

Desired Qualifications:
  • School administration experience
  • Experience supervising educators
  • Experience in a charter school environment

  • This is a home-based position
