Job Description
New Hampshire's first statewide online school, the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School, is currently accepting applications for Elementary (K-5) instructors. Training and professional development for online instruction will be provided, and applicants should:
-Have at least 2 years of teaching experience in the K-5 grade levels
-Hold a valid teaching certificate in Elementary Education.
-Be passionate about using Internet technologies as a powerful tool to build relationships and provide personalized student-learning opportunities for students.
-Be available for synchronous and asynchronous virtual training.
-Be willing to participate in a variety of virtual training sessions, especially within the first six months of employment.

The Virtual Learning Academy Charter School's administrative offices are located in Exeter, NH. Instructors hired to teach at the Academy need to be certified or certifiable in the state of New Hampshire, but will be able to teach from their home or another off site location.

Job Requirements
Potential candidates will be interviewed on Zoom first. Candidates moving on in the process will be expected to attend an all-day zoom interview session. Candidates offered positions will be expected to participate in multiple synchronous virtual training days in late October & early November (dates TBD) Candidates with teaching credentials from outside of New Hampshire must be willing to be certified in New Hampshire if hired. Adjunct instructors are required to own their own laptops and have access to various programs on that laptop. Candidates must be available to work with elementary students during regular school hours Mon - Fri. Candidates with the time and ability to work with larger numbers of students will be given preference.At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred Master degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
