Job Description
The successful candidate will:
• Plan and implement the Physical Education curriculum for Kindergarten classes: Monday & Friday at Wildwood ECC and Tuesday & Thursday at Boutwell ECC
• Evaluate individual students using department-developed common assessment tools, maintain up-to-date records of student progress, and report scores to department liaison by posted deadlines
• Collaborate with members of the K-12 Department of Physical Education to review, develop and execute a rigorous district curriculum aligned to state standards
• Create a positive, inviting, and safe learning environment while modeling enthusiasm for learning
• Develop, model, and practice class procedures and routines
• Provide individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students with varying intellectual abilities, and to accommodate a variety of instructional activities and practices to meet individual student needs
• Communicate high expectations to all learners, as well as realistic and consistent expectations for student behavior and applies appropriate consequences

Job Requirements
DEGREE PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Experience working with early childhood or kindergarten age students ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Current Massachusetts Teacher Certification in Physical Education K-8Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
