Date Range: September 4th, 2020 - December 19, 2020.

Essential Functions and Objectives:

- The School Counselor promotes and enhances the learning process for students through an integration of academic, personal/social, and post-secondary development. Contributes to and/or manages the School Counseling Program using the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model. Counsels students regarding educational issues such as course and program selection, class scheduling, school adjustment, truancy, study habits, and college/career planning. Counsels individuals to help them understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affecting their educational or vocational situations. Delivers counseling services through classroom guidance lessons, small groups, and individual counseling. Analyzes data and uses results to inform stakeholders and continuously improve programs.

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:

- Must possess a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - School Counselor.\nPrevious school counseling experience preferred.
