Lucid for Education is looking for a Florida/Georgia or California based Regional Sales Manager focused on the K-12 space. Lucid for Education is the new way of learning, combining Lucidchart and Lucidpress to facilitate collaboration, critical thinking and creativity in the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the K-12 education industry
  • Own a territory and build pipeline and personal relationships with prospects and clients
  • Strong forecasting and pipeline management skills
  • Consistently close deals to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Invest in colleagues and coach when you see an opportunity for improvement
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product and marketing teams
  • Be proactive about solving problems even if it’s outside of your area
  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge

Requirements

  • Passion for improving education
  • 3-5+ years of professional sales experience
  • K-12 educational sales experience
  • Ability to project manage complex sales cycles with internal stakeholders (Learning Solutions, Marketing, Operations)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Skilled in prospecting, territory planning, and team-selling
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
  • BA/BS degree
  • Must be living in Florida/Georgia or California territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospects and opportunities simultaneously
  • Skill in selling a product against direct and indirect competitors
