The Monroe County School Corporation Board of Trustees is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as superintendent of its school system of 11,000 students. MCCSC, providing an engaging and empowering environment to maximize the educational success of all students, is located in the south central region of Indiana. The school district includes all of the city of Bloomington and most of Monroe County and is the home of Indiana University and the Bloomington Campus of Ivy Tech State College. The Board seeks a visionary leader with engaging interpersonal skills and a leadership style that promotes openness and teamwork.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dedicated community. 

The Board expects to offer an initial multi-year contract with a regionally competitive salary and an attractive benefits package. The new superintendent will report winter 2020 or later to be determined by the Board and the successful candidate.
