The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is currently seeking a full-time School Nurse (RN) to provide onsite health services for students attending our 2 Northampton based alternative learning programs; HEC Academy and Mount Tom Academy. These students generally have average to above average cognitive ability, and have demonstrated the need for a more supportive school environment. Students typically have learning disabilities, autism, and/or social-emotional or behavioral challenges, they do not require any level of physical intervention.Our School Nurse is an integral part of the school community; helping to keep students healthy so that they may fully engage with their learning.

• Respond to student medical needs and emergencies.Work closely with teachers, clinicians and other staff, in ways that create and sustain, a supportive culture for students.Connect students with local resources as needed.Provide students with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to make life choices which will keep them safe and healthy - in and out of school.
