The New Milford (Connecticut) Public Schools has an immediate opening for a Nursing Facilitator (This is an temporary assignment). Only online applications will be accepted. It is necessary that candidates supply us with at least 2 current, dated and signed (no later than 2018) letters of reference, resume, cover letter, copy of CT Nursing License and Public Health License. All required documents must be uploaded to your online application.
Hours: 30 to 40 hour per week - work day to be determined
Compensation: Range from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience. There are no benefits associated with this Non-Bargaining Unit position.
Reports to: Reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools.

Qualifications:
- Current CT Registered NurseHave current Professional Rescuer CPR/ AED certificate and current CT registered nurse license
- provide COVID-19 related professional development and timely resources to staff and families in the community;assist in contact tracing in coordination with the Town's Director of Public Health and Superintendent;train school nurses on how to assist with contact tracing;monitor PPE supplies and request additional supplies, as needed;act as a liaison across all schools so that information and case-specific coordination can be reported in a timely manner;act as a liaison between the Superintendent, COVID Liaison, school nurses, School Medical Advisor, and Town's Director of Public Health;report staff and student cases of confirmed COVID to the District's COVID Liaison;participate in CDC, DPH and CSDE trainings, webinars and related information and updates.
