The New Milford (Connecticut) Public Schools has an immediate opening for a Nursing Facilitator (This is an temporary assignment). Only online applications will be accepted. Hours: 30 to 40 hour per week - work day to be determined

Compensation: Range from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience. There are no benefits associated with this Non-Bargaining Unit position.

Reports to: Reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools.

Qualifications:

1. Current CT Registered NurseHave current Professional Rescuer CPR/ AED certificate and current CT registered nurse license

Nurse Facilitator position: The nurse facilitator will work with team members across the community to provide coordination, training, and monitoring of COVID-19 related issues. This position includes the following duties and responsibilities:

• provide COVID-19 related professional development and timely resources to staff and families in the community;assist in contact tracing in coordination with the Town's Director of Public Health and Superintendent;train school nurses on how to assist with contact tracing;monitor PPE supplies and request additional supplies, as needed;act as a liaison across all schools so that information and case-specific coordination can be reported in a timely manner;act as a liaison between the Superintendent, COVID Liaison, school nurses, School Medical Advisor, and Town's Director of Public Health;report staff and student cases of confirmed COVID to the District's COVID Liaison;participate in CDC, DPH and CSDE trainings, webinars and related information and updates.

This position may involve additional Nurse Facilitator duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
