Crystal River Elementary School - Music Teacher

CRES is seeking applications for a dynamic, knowledgeable, innovative Music teacher (FTE.75 / 30 hours per week) to ensure that every student develops the enduring knowledge, skills and character to thrive in a changing world. CRES serves a diverse and multilingual student population of 530 PreK- 4th grade students. Any college-educated community member with an Arts background is encouraged to apply, especially those who are passionate about teaching music to children. Temporary state licensure is available with district approval and support.

Specials teachers at CRES work closely and collaboratively with their team to develop and implement RFSD instructional model, and are supported through ongoing coaching cycles to help the continuous improvement of their craft. CRES seeks a positive and proactive individual who strives to build strong relationships with parents, students, and colleagues and embraces the mission and vision of our school.

Pay range: $41,140.00 - $63,360.00 based on education and years of experience
**Annual salary noted above is based on an 8 hour day and full days worked calendar. Any position that is less than a full FTE/8 hours per day or late start will be prorated accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

*Colorado Teaching License with Music endorsement

Desired Qualifications:

*Elementary teaching experience

*Experience teaching a diverse population of students including English Language Learners and previous work with intentionally implementing culturally responsive instruction.

*Strong background in music instruction

*Bilingual
