Saint Clement School is located in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago. The Learning Specialist for grades 4-8 would be part of our Child First Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach Learning Lab class
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 interventions in math, reading and writing
- Write and develop Child First and MTSS plans
- Work with teachers to support differentiation, use of data, strategies for working with students
- Follow MTSS and progress monitoring guidelines
- Provide accommodations for the classroom and standardized assessments (MAP, Aspire)
- Create student packages to submit for evaluations
- Ensure individual IEP/504/CF plan accommodations/modifications are being implemented in the classrooms
- Communicate with teachers and parents regarding plans and progress
