  • Saint Clement School is located in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago. The Learning Specialist for grades 4-8 would be part of our Child First Team.
    Responsibilities include:
    • Teach Learning Lab class
    • Provide Tier 2 and 3 interventions in math, reading and writing
    • Write and develop Child First and MTSS plans
    • Work with teachers to support differentiation, use of data, strategies for working with students
    • Follow MTSS and progress monitoring guidelines
    • Provide accommodations for the classroom and standardized assessments (MAP, Aspire)
    • Create student packages to submit for evaluations
    • Ensure individual IEP/504/CF plan accommodations/modifications are being implemented in the classrooms
    • Communicate with teachers and parents regarding plans and progress
