Essential Functions and Objectives:

The Dean of Operations reports directly to the Principal and is a full-time position on the school leadership team. Dean of Operations will supervise all managers and coordinators of school operations and building maintenance, including cafeteria staff, nutrition services, nurse, custodians, secretaries, etc., if applicable.

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:

- A t least 3 years of operations management in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated knowledge of DPS Human Resource and other departmental policies.

- S trong written and verbal communication skills.

- E xperience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

- K nowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.

- E xperience managing contracts and vendor relationships.

- S trong analytical and problem solving skills.

- A bility to mitigate and anticipate challenges.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree required with experience in business, operations, or management
