The Collaborative for Educational Services seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Program Manager for the Migrant Education Program (MEP). This is an opportunity for a person whose background includes oversight of database systems as well as experience with operations, procedures and training. Additional position responsibilities are record keeping, grant reporting and collaborating with community partners.

The Migrant Education Program (MEP) is a federally funded Title I program since 1966 with the amendment of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. MEP or Title I, Part C was reauthorized under the passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

Under this contract, we provide supplemental support services for a population of students whose parents or the students themselves are employed doing migratory work in the agricultural or fishing industries. The program offers high-quality and comprehensive educational programs and services during the school year, and as applicable, during the summer or intersession periods, that address the unique educational needs of migratory children.

Applications from persons who worked for EDCO's Migrant Educator Program will be reviewed through September 11, 2020.
