Staff Needed: One (1) Supervisor of MIS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent work experience in the field.
- (3) years of administrative experience preferred.
- Have excellent leadership, organizational skills and the ability to motivate people.
- Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community and poses integrity, confidentiality and good moral character.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and time management and initiative.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
- Demonstrate the ability to use computers and/or electronic equipment for word processing, data management, and telecommunications to fulfill job functions.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the District's variety of educational programs, including special education and bilingual programs.
- Oversee process and procedures for MIS as well as handle and resolve conflicts that may arise.
- Ability to serve as a mediator/facilitator to ensure accurate and timely State reporting.
- Ability to assist with the training of new employees.
- Ability to perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment as assigned by the Director of MIS.
- Must be able to attend required meetings and serve, as appropriate, on staff committees.
- Ability to display the highest ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the district. Serve as a role model for staff in demonstrating positive attitudes and an effective work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community
