    Staff Needed: One (1) Supervisor of MIS

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent work experience in the field.
    • (3) years of administrative experience preferred.
    • Have excellent leadership, organizational skills and the ability to motivate people.
    • Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community and poses integrity, confidentiality and good moral character.
    • Must have excellent organizational skills and time management and initiative.
    • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.
    • Demonstrate the ability to use computers and/or electronic equipment for word processing, data management, and telecommunications to fulfill job functions.
    • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the District's variety of educational programs, including special education and bilingual programs.
    • Oversee process and procedures for MIS as well as handle and resolve conflicts that may arise.
    • Ability to serve as a mediator/facilitator to ensure accurate and timely State reporting.
    • Ability to assist with the training of new employees.
    • Ability to perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment as assigned by the Director of MIS.
    • Must be able to attend required meetings and serve, as appropriate, on staff committees.
    • Ability to display the highest ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the district. Serve as a role model for staff in demonstrating positive attitudes and an effective work ethic.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community
