St. Ailbe Catholic School is looking for a middle school ELA and SS teacher, grades 6-8, who can plan and execute a plan to get every student to grow in their literary journey. We are looking for a dedicated team member who thrives off of collaboration and is looking to grow in his/her own teaching practice. Experience using the Schoolwide curriculum a plus.
St. Ailbe is a school that is focused on the individual students. We want each child to know himself/herself in a way that he/she can move confidently forward in academics and decision making towards the future he/she chooses for himself/herself. We do this through instruction and intentionally bringing to light the growth of each child. Our intentionality will bring out their individuality.
Candidates must have experience planning lessons and working in a school environment. We are looking for candidates who have or who will have their PEL by the beginning of the school year. All potential candidates must have completed Virtus training through the Archdiocese of Chicago along with background checks performed through the Archdiocese.
This school year will begin remotely, with the intent of coming back into the school building. Experience with remote learning a plus.
Salary based on salary schedule determined by the Archdiocese of Chicago.
