This position will be a part of a team-teaching set-up and will include supporting the teaching in our literacy classrooms, as well as working with small groups of students in a literacy setting, who may benefit from additional support. When needed, this will include additional duties, such as supporting students in the hallways and during lunch hours.

Additional Qualifications Also Include:

- understand delivery of literacy instruction and support, as well as able to support in a multi-age literacy setting

- knowledge of lexile levels and reader comprehension

- ability to work within flexible-scheduling

- background working in a project-based learning environment

- forward thinking to find a solution

- team-teaching approach mentality

- cross-content integration is a bonus

- ability to be flexible and work within an innovative environment

- knowledge about students moving along a continuum of learning

- STEM background if possible, or geared toward that mindset
