THE POSITION
The candidate will be a Special Education Elementary teacher with ABA training; will have experience working in a special education classroom or resource room setting, with behavior modification experience. He/she should desire to work cooperatively with academic teachers within a team concept.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 1. NJ Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students w/Disabilities Certificate required.
2. Meets NJ standards for HQT.
3. Should possess knowledge of NJCCS and NCLB.
4. ABA experience required.
5. Teaching experience with special needs students preferred.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

PRINCIPAL
JOB GOAL(S) To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.

11. Strives to maintain and improve professional competence.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS OF THE POSITION: To maintain effective relationships with teachers, students, parents, administrators and appropriate community groups.
