Intermediate District 287 is looking for qualified Orientation and Mobility Specialists like you for a Part-Time position for FALL 2020 with Itinerant Services!

Intermediate District 287 is a West Metro school district for unique learners. Our healing community works together to achieve racial equity. Position Details:

• Part-time: Two (2) hours per week
• Competitive rate: $28.86 - $58.78 DOE and E
• Instruct students with a range of vision impairments, including blindness, with the development of skills and knowledge so that they can travel independently

Requirements:

• Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations
• Bachelor's degree in orientation and mobility from an accredited college or university. A Master's degree in orientation and mobility is preferred
• Licensure by the Minnesota Department of Education in orientation and mobility is required; and, an additional license in vision impairment is preferred
• An Association for Education and Rehabilitation of Blind/Visually Impaired (AER) national certification is also required
• A valid Minnesota driver's license is required
