BRAINATION, Inc. started as a small, residential charter school in San Antonio in October of 1998, we have since grown to a system of nine schools across Texas. We serve over 3,000 students in our charter schools and thousands more in our partnership, private schools. Our mission is to increase the capacity for human greatness. Our three imperatives: Belong, Be Great, Find Joy.
Our Legacy Ranch campus is located within a foster care and adoption agency located in Gonzales, Texas. We serve approximately thirty K-12 students who are in need of a stable and loving environment.
We are looking for student-centered substitute teachers to lead in the spirit of our mission to increase the capacity for human greatness. Our learning environment engages students in the construction of understanding through asking questions, exploring, researching, and reflecting. We focus on strong academics but also teach tolerance, value diversity, support justice, and strive daily to fulfill our mission.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate preferred
Prior teaching experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
