Job Title: Middle School Special Education Teacher
Supervisor: Building Principal
Location: Rosa Parks Middle School

Job Summary:
Provide academic, social, emotional and behavioral instruction, aligned with the IEP. Under general direction of the Principal, the teacher creates a flexible academic program and environment favorable to learning and personal growth in accordance with students' ability. Instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.

Qualifications:
IL PEL with appropriate endorsement; including LBS1

1. Provide effective instruction; differentiating to meet the needs of each individual student.
2. Provide appropriate academic, social, emotional and behavioral interventions
3. Communicate with parents through a variety of means.
