Science Teacher Summer School 2020

This is Summer School Position and does not constitute permanent hire in the District for 2020-2021 school year.

K-8 will be June 16 - July 23 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) 8:30 - 12:30 each day. All teaching and learning will be completed virtually and remotely.

Requirements:

-Illinois Teaching License with endorsement in Middle School Science

-Highly Qualified in Earth, Life and Physical Sciences

-Satisfactory Evaluation for the past two years

-Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current instructional and curricular methodologies

-Average Daily Attendance of greater than 93% of a regular school term

-Evidence of current professional development

-Must not exceed 6% salary cap

-District 189 Teaching staff have selection priority on a point system as described in Article XVII of 1220 Agreement
