Position: Student Recruitment and Enrollment Associate

Our Mission:

Building a foundation of skills, knowledge and character, University Prep educates every K-5 scholar for a four-year college degree and a life of opportunity.

The Opportunity:

Our schools are places that build an unbreakable foundation for our children and the futures they dream of - the futures they will choose. We strive to keep each of our existing campuses 100% full because we believe doing so provides more kids with greater opportunities for their future. Given a significant decline in elementary enrollment across our Northeast Denver community (nearly 15% decrease in the last four years) and a significant predicted decline in elementary-aged students across Denver (3,500 student decrease projected over the next five years), we need a Student Recruitment and Enrollment Associate who sees opportunity inside of challenge and who will find ways to achieve ambitious goals within a difficult context. Do you want to be responsible for playing a pivotal part in this critical work of fully enrolling our schools?

Why you'll love us:

"We have been a part of the University Prep family from the beginning. Over the past school years, I've been so proud to see my child grow, learn, and get the support that I feel every child should receive." - U Prep Parent
At U Prep, we're doing things differently. Three major focus areas drive our work each day, ensuring we stay true to the promises we make to every one of our families - a genuine life of opportunity for their child.
Academics - Academic excellence for every child sits at the center for our work. U Prep offers all scholars challenging, college prep content, along with the support and encouragement necessary to master it. We believe every child will achieve greatness when they are equally challenged, supported and loved.

Character - A focus on growing good students and good people is at the heart of our mission. U Prep knows that to succeed in life, scholars must have a strong and confident character. Our schools go beyond a foundation of academic skills and knowledge with the development of our PREP values - Pride, Responsibility, Enthusiasm, and Perseverance.

Vision - You can only dream as far as you can see - we make sure all of our students see what's truly possible. All children deserve the chance to see the opportunities that live outside of their classrooms. Within our K - 5 experience our scholars get to see a range of colleges and careers that will become their future.
Achieving big dreams takes hard work and a team effort. Our approach to education and the genuine partnership we build with our families means the possibilities for U Prep scholars are unlimited.

Why we'll love you:

Do the following must haves resonate with how you are wired? If so, we invite you to apply and can't wait to learn more about you!

You love sales: When you believe in something you absolutely love sharing it with others. You're eager to meet new people, learn about their wants and needs, and share how the service you have to offer may match exactly what they're looking for. Building meaningful relationships, networking, serving as a brand ambassador, and ultimately being responsible for achieving ambitious goals all excite and inspire you.

You love working with people: While you're fully capable of managing logistics and working behind a desk at your computer, you'd much rather be out and about, on the go, interacting with people. You feed off the energy of others and love interacting with people face-to-face who you know and don't yet know .

You communicate effectively with others: Your communication skills are exceptional and you pride yourself on always sharing the "why" along with the "what." You translate unfamiliar information into easily understandable content both in speaking and in writing. You work to listen and understand those around you and connect with them in meaningful ways.

You never give up: When things feel impossible, you roll up your sleeves, ready to do anything necessary to make them a reality because you know failure is not an option. You are calm and level-headed with an unyielding sense of optimism. You take on challenges and find a way to get to the finish line.

You take pride in your work: You believe the results you achieve are a direct reflection of your capacity and effort. You have always prided yourself on achieving at a high level because it represents who you are and the values you stand for. Hard work drives success and you are a successful person because you put in the time and energy to achieve meaningful outcomes.
