Speech Language Pathologist - Full-Time at Community Roots Academy (Laguna Niguel, CA)

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be providing school-based services to children at Community Roots Academy.

The school-based Speech/Language Pathologist provides speech pathology intervention to students in a school/educational setting. Services provided may include screening, evaluation, planning individual treatment programs, providing direct treatment and consultation, and participating as a member of the IEP team. The speech/language pathologist performs other related duties as required. Full job description is available upon request.

Required Skills

• Graduate Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders (Masters' or Doctorate)
• Speech Pathology License-California Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association
• Completion of an academic course or at least 10 hours of continuing education credits in the area of supervision, completed prior to or concurrent with the first SLPA supervision experience
• Clear Speech Language Pathology Services Credential through California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the Live Scan fingerprinting process
