We're hiring for a Special Education Teacher for the 2020/21 School Year!
This Position is for our Partner School located in the Southside of the City of Chicago, IL
Full Time Remote to start through November 2nd 2020. Then the position would transition to fully onsite. Students remain remote through January 2021.
Description: 5th/6th grade Resource Classroom and 3rd/4th grade Self-Contained

As a member of our team, the Special Education Teacher will
- Develop and oversee the special education program to ensure that all students have the resources and supports in place to meet the goals set in their individual education plans (IEPs).
- Have proficiency in designing differentiated instruction and progress monitoring tools to serve students needing special services
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with special education teachers, general education teachers, clinicians, and parents/guardians.
Special Education Case Manager Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Illinois Special Educators License.
- LBS1 certification and/or Type 75.
- Related school-based experience and familiarity with the Impact Service Capture program preferred but not required.
