The New Milford (Connecticut)  Public School system provides a comprehensive education program to some 3,900 students in grades K-12.  The district employs approximately 375 certified employees in two elementary schools, an intermediate school, a middle school and a high school.  Located 90 miles northeast of New York City, New Milford is an attractive and growing suburban/rural community of about 30,000 residents.
