SIS Coordinator/Registrar: Austin
Location: Openings at various IDEA Austin campuses.
The mission for the Student Information Systems (SIS) coordinator is to achieve 97.5% average daily attendance, 100% enrollment, maintain 100% data accuracy and 100% compliance with IDEA’s attendance procedures. The SIS coordinator organizes all of the campus operation tasks with key stakeholders and executes campus operation processes that bind to our student information system (PowerSchool).
Assist with the enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer of students and process applicable records
Acquire and maintain physical and computerized records, including student cumulative folders, progress and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes, and grade books
Process new student records and request transcripts and records from other schools
Set up cumulative folders and enter student data into appropriate databases
Coordinate grading processes, verification and correction of grades, printing and distribution of report cards, and on-time delivery of grades
Process and transmit requests for student information, including transcripts for colleges and universities
Prepare and distribute University Scholastic League (UIL) eligibility lists
Prepare honor roll based on student GPA
Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of all student reports and data
Work with principal and counselors to determine scheduling
Assist with student recruitment and registration
Prepare and distribute student identification cards and high school parking stickers
Coordinate the ordering and distribution of all graduation materials, including caps, gowns, and diplomas, under the guidance of the counseling team
Monitor records of absent students and notify teachers and administrators of parent conferences

6. Increase PowerSchool Parent Portal usage
7. Campus readiness 2 weeks prior to the start of school
8. Live values of IDEA
• HS diploma or GED required
• Experience with records or student information desired
