Brief Description:
An employee in this position performs routine to varied office operations requiring general office skills. Assignments
typically consist of word processing of personnel-related business documents, file maintenance, data entry and routine
database maintenance, scanning, mail processing, phone and visitor reception work, and similar tasks. Individuals in this
position take direction from members of the administrative team on overall assignments and, in following through on
that direction, plan for and complete their own daily tasks, provide updates on work status, and use independent
judgment and training to take appropriate actions to deal with standard recurring situations.

Detailed Description:
The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to
the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned when deemed
appropriate:
* Prepares job postings for functional team(s) within the department and tracks and manages the status of each
posting.
* Processes and updates job applications in the applicant tracking system, and uploads or scans application
documents and other employment-related materials.
* Responds to frequent recruitment and job application inquiries to the LCPS recruitment email inbox and
applications phone line.
* Prepares materials for career fairs to include LCPS hosted fairs and external fairs.
* Processes documents required for employment, including the maintenance of applicant/employee records.
* Assists administrators with special projects.
* Schedules event locations, as needed.
* Participates in career fairs or other department events, which may include some evening or weekend work.

Job Requirements:
Below are the qualifications for this position:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Two years of experience in Human Resources environment, data entry, and customer service
* Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high volume work environment while maintaining a focus on
efficiency, accuracy, and detail
* Ability to write clear and appropriately detailed reference checks and other documents as needed
* Demonstrated professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with internal staff
members at different levels within the department and school division, and to make successful contacts with
individuals listed as references
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office computer applications, social media and internet search functions, and
possesses the ability to learn new computer programs related to this position
* Understands the importance of confidentiality and possesses the ability to maintain confidentiality and to
comply with school division policy and procedures
* Bi-lingual preferred, but not required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talking. expressing or exchanging ideas by means of
the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers
accurately, loudly, or quickly. The employee must possess normal cognitive abilities including the ability to learn, recall
and apply certain practices and policies. Frequently sitting and/or remaining in a stationary position for long periods of
time. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift,
carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
