Qualifications:
- Expertise in team building, collaboration and leading innovative initiatives with a demonstrated commitment to value centered leadership
- Extensive background in Teaching and Learning including effective integration of Technology
- Expertise in using data to make classroom, building and district decisions
- Experience leading the design and delivery of professional development including knowledge of adult learning theory
- Knowledge of contemporary practices for developing effective student centered learning opportunities
- Extensive knowledge of blended and active learning environments
- Ability to lead cross functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support state, regional and local student achievement, and school improvement initiatives through Comprehensive Professional Development Services
- Experience in budgeting, fiscal management, staff oversight and other daily administrative tasks
- Candidates must possess New York State SDA or SDL certification and have experience as a district and building leader
