***ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the development and planning of CTE programming and course offeringsSupport the mission and vision of the Career Development Center and the St Vrain Valley Schools through development of business and industry partnerships within and outside of the district.Recognize, understand and apply current labor market trends in the planning, design, and implementation of CTE programs.Act as a liaison with local area colleges and other post-secondary institutions and coordinate concurrent credit courses offered onsite.Market CDC programs and conduct outreach within the SVVSD community.
EXPERIENCE AND ACADEMIC PREPARATION:
- Must have Counseling License as required by Colorado Department of Education.Possess or be able to possess CTE Specialist CredentialStrong written and oral communication skillsAt least 3 years of counseling work at the high school level preferred
