27.5 hours per week
Initial hours of assignment: 8:15am - 2:15 pm
( Hours may be adjusted slightly depending on building need)
10 months per school year.
Duties:
~Working one to one or in a small group setting with students in order to support and reinforce the instruction of the general education or special education teacher.
~Assist teachers and students with daily work which may include general duties of a PPS Aide, as well as monitor duties in the cafeteria.
Requirements:
~Must have at least one (1) year experience working with school age children
~Patience
~Flexible
~Dependable
~Positive attitude
~Enthusiastic
Preferred:
~Experience working with elementary age students.
