GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform system plan setup, changes, and upgrades in benefits module of the Human Capital Management systems of the City (Oracle) and Schools (Lawson); develop business requirements as needed for programming requests; test, analyze and resolve system errors; extract and interface data transmissions to vendors; process inbound data files; perform data reconciliations with vendor files; extract and manipulate benefits data for reporting; serve on committees and implementation teams; communicate and collaborate with vendor technical support, internal programmers and staff; understand system rules and the business processes to engage in critical thinking.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree preferred with four years' experience in benefits administration and working knowledge of human capital management systems is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word is required. Experience with Crystal Reports and ACL (Audit Command Language) is preferred. Some programming experience is preferred.
