Description
This position is responsible for facilitating communication between the Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, the educational staff and hearing peers in the educational environment including services of school related activities: academic, non-academic and extracurricular for students as appropriate. This position will interpret regular and special education classes for grades K-12, as assigned. The interpreter will use PSE or ASL to match student's skill level and collaborate with and assist Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Support classroom, ensuring the continuance of the education program developed by the teacher and providing access to our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

- HS diploma/GED required.Applicants who have taken or are in the process of taking the EIPA will be considered.
